10 Minute Stamping Up! Color Challenge

This week we have a color challenge.  I was challenged to create a card in 10 minutes or less using Cherry Cobbler, Certainly Celery and Chocolate Chip.  it’s hard to create without a neutral color so I personally through Whisper White in there too.

Ready to stamp!

I was ready to go but knew I needed to keep it extra fast this time.  It was almost time to get the kids in bed but I was trying to use my time wisely while I had a little bit.

Elegant Lines Embossing Folder

I ran to the paper cutter with my Chocolate Chip cardstock and then next door to the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines embossing folder.  Not long after this point I received a phone call so I was busy trying to stamp and talk on the phone all at the same time so I didn’t get any pictures taken.  (Sorry to the caller for the heat embossing tool blowing in their ear!)

I did some stamping, some punching and some embossing oh and a little adhering.  And, it took me . . .

8 minutes!  Woo Hoo!  I did it in good timing!  The card is done, and I got upstairs just in time to help with the boys.  It’s a pretty simple card.  Do you want to see it?

Tags til Christmas & Teeny Tiny Wishes

Here it is!  It’s actually pretty similar to a couple cards I made earlier in the week.  I guess the design just stuck with me.  I used the Tags til Christmas stamp set for the ornament, embossed in white, and then punched it with the Ornament Punch.  “Merry Christmas’ is from Teeny Tiny wishes and I used the Modern Label Punch to punch it out.

I used both types of Certainly Celery taffeta ribbon along with our new Basic Rhinestones to add some fun bling to the card.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today!
