I gave myself a little bit of a challenge yesterday. I challenged myself to sit down and create a scrapbook page using all four of the techniques I was about to teach in Technique Club. I did it!
The left-hand page is simply a collage of pictures. These are pictures of the bay from our vacation. I focused in on my youngest and my hubby with these pages.
I did all four techniques on this page. They’re all totally different techniques but I think they came together well. Really, this could be a single page layout by itself.
Here are the handmade buttons I showed you yesterday. The ladies were so excited to learn how to make these!
I used our technique of 3-D stamping with the Medallion stamp set.
If you look closely you see that I embossed the Chocolate Chip satin ribbon. What a neat texture it gives! I also made the metal medallion you see here with the faux metal technique and a stamp from the Vintage Labels stamp set.
I really think I should give myself challenges like this more often! It was fun! I should mention that I was in a rush doing this page. I knew I had a class in my basement and a very messy kitchen so I couldn’t sit there all day and debate my moves.
