A Scrapbooking Challenge to Myself

Stamping Techniques on a scrapbook page

I gave myself a little bit of a challenge yesterday.  I challenged myself to sit down and create a scrapbook page using all four of the techniques I was about to teach in Technique Club.  I did it!

Scrapbook pages on the water

The left-hand page is simply a collage of pictures.  These are pictures of the bay from our vacation.  I focused in on my youngest and my hubby with these pages.

Stamping Techniques for Class

I did all four techniques on this page.  They’re all totally different techniques but I think they came together well.  Really, this could be a single page layout by itself.

Handmade buttons

Here are the handmade buttons I showed you yesterday.  The ladies were so excited to learn how to make these!

3-D Stamping Technique

I used our technique of 3-D stamping with the Medallion stamp set.

Faux metal & Embossing Ribbon Techniques

If you look closely you see that I embossed the Chocolate Chip satin ribbon.  What a neat texture it gives!  I also made the metal medallion you see here with the faux metal technique and a stamp from the Vintage Labels stamp set.

I really think I should give myself challenges like this more often!  It was fun!  I should mention that I was in a rush doing this page.  I knew I had a class in my basement and a very messy kitchen so I couldn’t sit there all day and debate my moves.

So, what do you think?
