A Slice of Life & Bella Toile Handmade Card

A Slice of Love & Bella Toile

This is a card I made to showcase a technique I taught to the Stewartstown, PA Stampin’ Technique Club this month.  We learned how to make the tile effect in the background.  If you could see it in real life you’d see the shine of the tile, just like a well waxed floor . . . somewhere (won’t find one of those in my house I’m afraid.)  It’s a really neat background look!

A Slice of Life stamp set

I had a lot of fun cutting out the flower and vase from the A Slice of Life stamp set.  It took me a little while but I always figure if I’m going to cut something out, I’m going to cut it out, no cutting corners.  It’s worth it in my opinion!

I look forward to seeing some of you at the Stampin’ Birthday Party this afternoon and evening!
