Another piece of framed stamp art

Outhouse signNot everyone has a bathroom they call a “Powder Room”, for some the way they decorate makes “Outhouse” a little more appropriate.  So, I made a sign for the door.  I didn’t have any outhouse stamps so I used the Under the Stars stamp set and the Lovely as a Tree stamp set along with Headline Alphabet which is retired.  My style sides more with the Fifth Avenue Floral frame from yesterday (not that it would match my house I’m afraid – maybe once my children are grown!!), but I think someone out there will this!

Our first Scrap Club meeting at the Mason Dixon Library in Stewartstown, PA went very well last night!  Everyone seemed to like the pages we made and we’re all excited to get back together next month on Monday, April 20.  We still have room for a few more members so feel free to contact me or the Mason Dixon Library to sign up – we’d love to have you!

This Saturday I will be in Baldwin, MD stamping with the very ladies who got me into this in the first place.  I can’t wait!  I love the ladies of Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church.  Since many of them have been stamping for years I always feel challenged to come up with something super special and try to teach them something new.  I’ll share the cards we make after I’ve had the class, I don’t want to spoil it!

Don’t forget next Friday (the 27th) is PMS Night at my home in Stewartstown, PA from 6:30-9:30!  It looks like we’re going to have a good group of ladies so I’m going to make sure I get some extra tables to accommodate everyone.  If you are planning to attend, please let me know so I can plan accordingly.  We’re going to have a great time!

Have you created something special today?  Take a couple minutes, sit down and see what you can come up with!  It’s a good stress relief and fun too!

  1. That outhouse sign is a HOOT! I live in the Ozark Mountains- i NEED one of those for our bathroom. And for the bathrooms where I work, too! Tourists always come in asking if we have a bathroom- I freak them all out when I throw my thumb over my shoulder and say,”Out back… JUST KIDDING!”

    • I’m glad you like it! I was very surprised to walk into the Market today and find that one had sold! I wasn’t sure if it would. Guess I just might have to make another one sometime.
