Handmade Christmas Cards
Today I have two handmade Christmas cards to share with you that are very much alike in style but yet they are different. It’s always fun to see how you can use ideas in multiple ways so I thought you would enjoy seeing these cards together.
Dasher stamp set
This is the card I made with the ladies who attended Georgie’s party last Saturday. Isn’t it so cute? I’m not sure if you can tell, but there are two rhinestones placed in the antlers adding a little bit of special bling. It’s so pretty in real life! The colors and bling give Dasher such a free and lighthearted feel, almost wispy or dreamy. Does that make sense?
A Wish for Peace stamp set
We will be making this version of the card at the Christmas Card Class tonight. Unfortunately it is impossible to catch the glimmer of the Dazzling Diamonds that are shimmering on the church steeple and pine tree. I really wish you could see it in person, it’s so pretty!
The stamp on this card is from the A Wish for Peace stamp set on page 38 of the Idea Book & Catalog. This stamp set has been around for a little while and I think it is a beautiful set.
Don’t you like the Bashful Blue together with the Chocolate Chip and Whisper White? They may not be “traditional” Christmas colors but they give such a cozy feel as you look at this picture and think of what it would be like inside the church, out of the snow and celebrating the birth of Christ. I love this card!
