Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies card ideaBefore you say it, no, I didn’t misspell the title!  This designer paper has become one my new favorites.  You may recognize the name because I used it in one of my Ocean City scrapbook layouts about a week ago.  I don’t think the small little pictures of the paper in the catalog (page 161) do the paper justice.  It’s beautiful and elegant but yet it can be manly at the same time if needed.

This is one of the cards we made at an event in Baldwin, MD today.  We used the Bella Bleu DSP along with Not Quite Navy, Kraft and So Saffron to create the card.  The Butterfly was made using the Big Shot and the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Butterflies die.

Yummy stamp setThis card is one we made at the All Occasions card class last week.  This particular card showcases several Big Show dies.  We used the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Top Note, the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Simple Flower embosslit and the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Little Leaves dies.  The stamp sets used were the Yummy Stamp Set (free until March 31!), Sincere Salutations and the Bella Toile background Bella Toile backgroundstamp.  The colors used at Pink Pirouette, Mellow Moss, Whisper White, and Bravo Burgundy.

You can see another version of the same card where I just substituted Bravo Burgundy in place of some of the Pink Pirouette.  Some may prefer this one if they’re not so into pink.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
