Bella Rose CASEd card

Bella rose with coordinating DSP

I want to try to keep you up-to-date on the goings on.  Stampin’ Up! has announced that they will no longer be carrying the Coluzzle Cutting System once their supplies run out.  (Something to do with the manufacturer discontinuing the item.)  If this is something you’ve been wanting to purchase then you will want to place an order ASAP before their supplies are gone.  With this new catalog we have gotten a new cutting system, the Circle Scissor Plus.  I have not yet used this tool but I look forward to doing so!

Here’s a snipit of what Stampin’ Up! has to say about the new circle cutter.  “For starters, with the Circle Scissor Plus, all you have to do is turn a handle.  The V-shaped blade allows for cutting in both directions, and the gripper base ensures that the cutter stays still.  In one fluid motion, the Circle  Scissor Plus cuts all the way around your circle,  You won’t have to worry about awkward hand placement, templates shifting, the blade jumping track, or stopping halfway through to reposition.”

I will probably be purchasing the Circle Scissor Plus during Sale-A-Bration.  Once I have it I do a tutorial for you so you can better understand how the tool works.

This is a cute card I CASEd (Copy And Steal Everything) from someone else.  Casing is perfectly acceptable as long as we do not take credit for the original idea.  If you ever find yourself with a creative block I highly suggest sitting down the CASE a project, as you go along you just might find yourself changing a little here and a little there until you’ve come up with something of your own.  This particular card is almost an exact replica of hte one I originally saw.  I honestly do not remember who originally came up with this idea but they did a wonderful job!  Thank you!

Have you sat down to be creative today?  It’s time!

The colors in this card are primarily the In-Colors with Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette.  The “holes” were made with the paper piercing tool and foam mat from the Stampin’ Up! Crafter’s Tool Kit.
