Birthday Boy Scrapbook Pages

2-Page Scrapbook Layout

It’s National Scrapbooking Month and I’m excited to share this fun scrapbook page with you!  I saw a scrapbook layout someone made a little while back that was kind of similar to this.  Since I had tons of pictures from Micah’s 6th birthday, I figured this layout would be great.  Naturally, when I went back to try to find the picture of the other person’s layout again I couldn’t find it so I was working from memory and gradually making it my own along the way.

The colors I used for these pages are Taken with Teal (retired), Pacific Point and Basic Black.  The Scrap Club will be making this same layout on the 16th of this month but we’ll be using some different colors.  I used a variety of Stampin’ Up! stamps for the background of this page.  Anyone in club who does not want to make this into a birthday layout can easily leave off the cakes and candles (and change the title of course) and the layout will work for any occasion.

After taking this picture I realized there is ink all over the picture in the upper left-hand corner.  Apparently when I was making the scrapbook page for my hostess last evening I managed to lay this right in the wet ink.  Oops!  Thankfully I have another picture of him blowing out the candles so I have substituted that in.  Whew!

You can’t tell it in the picture but I decided it would be fun to pop all of the pictures on this page up a little bit with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.  It makes it a little fun and dimensional – imagine that!

I hope you have a wonderful day!
