Card for the Musician in Your Life

Card for the Musician in Your Life

I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued up through 11th grade when I told my piano teacher I was done.  Silly me.  I picked it back up again in college as a music minor with piano as my primary instrument.  I’ve taught piano lessons at different points in time and find myself going through times when I’m more apt to sit down and play than other times.  Right now is one of those times when I’ve been finding it relaxing and stress relieving to sit down and play.  All that to say I knew as soon as I saw it that I would be purchasing the Music from the Heart stamp set from the Spring Catalog.

Here’s a card I made from Linda’s stampin’ party last week using the set.Stampin' Up! Music From the Heart

Isn’t it pretty?  Only the bottom of the card opens, where the music notes and piano appear.  Behind that area is a strip of Real Red Ribbon at the base of the Whisper White cardstock that was embossed with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (this embossing folder is in low inventory because it is so popular).  Below the ribbon is white cardstock which was not embossed leaving the perfect spot to write a message.  I would love to receive a card like this.  You know me, Black & White is always a hit and then when you add a baby grand piano in there – perfect!  I’ve always wanted to have a shiny black grand piano.

I hope you like this card as much as I do.  You certainly don’t need to be a piano player to appreciate music or this stamp set!
