It’s Scrap Club time of the month again! Here is one of the layouts we will be making this month. This layout is one of those all occasion layouts that will work for most any time.
Left Page
The colors on these scrapbook pages are Whisper White, Ballet Blue, Kraft and Chocolate Chip. I will be making a small change for Scrap Club, we will be using Very Vanilla instead of Whisper White. On the left I stamped with the Circle Circus stamp set. This is one of the stamp sets included in the Stampin’ Up! sale of the month! If you purchase the Circle Circus stamp set you can pick a pack of brads for free! Follow the link provided to learn more!
Tulip Die
Here is the right page. In the lower right corner I used the Stampin’ Up! Exclusive Tulipe Die to add a little flourish to the page.
These pictures are of my youngest. One evening we was laying by daddy on the floor in the living room, all wrapped up in a blanket and acting silly. I just had to catch a few pictures.
Thank you for stopping by to visit! Today is Friday so I will be posting my 3D challenge project (30 minutes instead of 10!) later today. Be sure to check back!
I made this card last night while the ladies were putting together their Punch Pals books. Whew, were those ladies ever working hard! I didn’t realize I was giving them so much work to do! In the end I think they were pleased with their books and all the fun little creatures they were able to make!
Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die
To make this card I used the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Lattice Die and Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die. It’s hard to see the detail of the ribbon but there are three folds in it on the top right corner just below the pearls.
There are a bunch of layers to this card in Whisper White, Basic Black and Basic Gray. On most of the layers I used the Ticket Corner Punch, I haven’t used that for a while it’s kind of struck my fancy again. Funny how I sometimes I use tools in spurts and then let them rest before picking them up again. Surely I’m not the only one like that, am I?
Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die
Here’s a close up of the beautifully winged butterfly! I cut two of the butterflies with the Big Shot. The bottom butterfly is cut from Basic Gray, the top butterfly is cut from Paper Vellum. After cutting/dry embossing the butterfly I embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder to give it some special sparkle. You may not be able to see it in the picture but the Lattice Die is also embossed with the Iridescent Ice.
The beads on the butterfly are from the Pretties Kit. I strung them on some sewing thread and then wrapped it around the middle of the butterfly and knotted it at the back. The rhinestone adhesives in the Eggcelent Eggs Kit would also look lovely on the butterfly, however, I didn’t have any to use so I improvised.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope this card has been an inspiration for you!
I tried something new today that I just learned about. I made these lovely pansies from the Butterfly Punch! I never would have thought these up on my own but I saw them on a couple other blogs today and just had to give it a try. The pansies remind me so much of my alma mater, they always planted tons of these around campus right as spring sprung! (Apparently my husband doesn’t have the same memories I do, when I asked him where we used to see tons of them he guessed Walmart and Sam’s Club. Oh well!)
Stampin' Up! Exclusive Lattice Die
I think I’m going to plan to give this to my (or for my husband to give this) to my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day. She loves flowers and gardening and this card seems perfect for her.
Besides the butterfly Punch, the other items you see that I used here include the Summer Sun Corduroy Buttons, Silver Hodgepodge Hardware (part of the current Stampin’ Up! Product Share I have going on), Vintage Brads, Sweet Pea Stitched Felt and Whisper White Satin Ribbon.
So what do you think? It would be a bit on the bulky side but I think this card could still be mailed, possibly with a small amount of extra postage needed. For us, we should be able to hand deliver this one.
Here is the scrapbook page I made of my grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary.
Big shot Decorative Accents Die
You may recognize this layout from those I did with the Scrap Club last week. When I was looking at these pictures of my grandparent’s anniversary I realized they would fit perfectly on this page.
2-Page Scrapbook layout
For those of you who participated in the Stampin’ Up! product share, the items are in and I hope to have them ready for pick-up and mailing on Monday. Thank you for joining us!
Here is the third and final layout for Scrap Club tonight. This is a simple layout with the Scallop Circle die and the Scallop Circle Punch. With this simple layout any pictures can fit in here just perfectly. The pictures I used on this layout are of my kids playing at the park when we [...]
Here is another scrapbook layout we’ll be making in Scrap Club this coming Monday. I haven’t had a chance to put my title on there yet but it will be “April Showers Bring May Flowers”. Once in a while it’s okay to put boys on floral scrapbook pages! On the left of the page I [...]
Sorry to be rather late with my post for today! I had the scrapbook layout done yesterday but just never got around to typing up this post and making it live at 12:01 A.M. as I usually do. This is one of the layouts we will be making for Scrap Club this coming Monday. The [...]
I sat down today wanting to use the Very Thankful stamp set. This is a special set because this is the one Stampin’ up! has picked for the Ronald McDonald house this year. Each time one of these stamp sets sells Stampin’ Up! gives a $2.00 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I’ll be [...]
