New Clock for the StampThat Studio

New Clock for the StampThat Studio

Stampin' Up! Clock

Yesterday I went to work on a new clock for the StampThat Studio!  I wanted to use some of our retired Timeless Portrait DSP so my clock will match the  decor of my desk which is close by.

Stampin' Up! Apothecary Accents Framelit

I pulled out tons of dies, in fact, you wouldn’t want to see the mess I’ve left on my table around the Big Shot!  I have a lot of clean up to do!  Here I used one of the Apothecary Accents Framelits, a retired alphabet die, some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and one of  the new Cute Clips from the Spring Catalog.

Stampin' Up! Oval Accent Die

I discovered something new when I was putting together number ten.  Did you know our doilies fit perfectly in the Oval Accent Die?  How fun is that?!  I added one of our new Build a Brads with a large pearl in the middle and some Crochet Trim.  Easy and fun!

Stampin' Up! Artisan Accents

I couldn’t resist pulling out the new Artisan Embellishments for number five , they’re just so pretty!

Stampin' Up! Clock

Perhaps you’ve caught on to the size of the “numbers” on this clock. It’s big!  For those of you who visit the Studio frequently, you probably recognize this table where I have retired items for sale.  Does this give you an idea of the size of the clock?

Those who wish to attend the Decorate a Clock class will have the option of making a clock along these lines.  Naturally, we all have different tastes and home decor so you will be able to choose the DSP and colors you want from my supply to use and be creative!

I know this clock may be a bit big for some, so I plan to come up with a second, smaller option as well.

Dress Up Framelit Die Fun

Dress Up Framelit Die Fun

Stampin' Up! Dress Up Framelit DiesWe had a lot of fun at the StampThat team meeting last evening!  We made a couple projects and snacked and talked business . . . and then we pulled out the Dress Up Framelit dies!

Dress Up Framelit DiesSeveral of the ladies commented that when they saw the dies in the catalog, they weren’t too excited about them.  I’ll admit, I was the same way, until I realized just how much variety can be had with these dies!  When you start thinking outside the box a little, using different papers and adding/taking away paper, trying different accessories, there is just so much variety to be had!

Stampin' Up! paper dressesLook what the team members who were here did with them in just a few minutes time!

Stampin' uP! DressesEveryone had fun creating!  Look at home many designs they came up with in those few short minutes.  Imagine all the fun that can be had when you have a little time to sit down with some paper, the Dress Up Dies and a few embellishments.  Wow!  I’m going to warn you though, it’s hard to sit down for just a few minutes . . .

These are the shapes of the three dies that come in the set, item number 130101.

I hope you enjoy the dresses we made.  I know I enjoyed having the team over to create!!  We would love to have you join the team, near or far!  Simply visit my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator website and click on Join the Fun to purchase your Starter Kit!

Dress Up Handmade Card

Dress Up Handmade Card

100_3376Stampin' Up! Dress Up Framelit Dies

Finally a card to share with you using one of the Dress Up dies.  I used the Tea for Two DSP, some crotchet trim and the new Flower Trim.  It’s simple but cute, don’t you think?

I look forward to making this card with the participants at the All Occasions Card Class tonight at the Mason Dixon Library in Stewartstown, PA.

I’m keeping this post short today, I have lots of handmade Valentines to work on!  I’ll share them with you before too long.  Thank you for stopping to visit today!

Stampin’ Up! Dress Up Formal

Stampin’ Up! Dress Up Formal

Stampin' Up! Dressed Up Famelit Dies

I’m so excited to finally show you the special project I made with the dresses from the Dress Up Framelit Dies.  I really wish the picture did  this justice!   I had so much fun making formal gowns with lots of bling!

Red Glimmer Paper Dress

This dress is made with Stampin’ Up! Red Glimmer Paper and our rhinestones and then fitted onto the dress form.  So very pretty!

Stampin' Up! Dressed Up

Wouldn’t this make a pretty bridal gown?  It wouldn’t have to be a bridal gown though, that’s part of the beauty of it!

Oh the fun that can be had with the Dress Up framelit dies!  If you like what you see, you can order your own set of these at http://Shop.StampThat.com, item number 130101.  In fact, if you place an online order for the Dress Up framelit dies OR the All Dressed Up Bundle (All Dressed Up stamp set & Dress Up framelit dies, wood mount 131096 or clear mount 131095) between now and Feb. 14, 2014, I will send you a set of 3 fun dresses I created with these dies.  Sets of dresses may vary from order to order due to . . . well . . . creativity!  That will give you some ideas to get you started with your own creativity, and you can go ahead and use them on your own projects if you wish!

I look forward to making many more dresses, and hopefully putting some in the mail to your address!

More Stampin’ Up! Dresses – All Dressed Up

More Stampin’ Up! Dresses – All Dressed Up

All Dressed Up - Stampin' Up!

Here are a couple more dresses for you to enjoy with the Dress Up Framelit Dies. (I shared three others yesterday, however, the post went up late so some of you may have missed it.)   Aren’t they so cute?  Does the one on the right make you think of pulling out a sundress?  Too bad the weather outside (at least here in PA) isn’t the least bit cooperative with the thought.  It’s 19 degrees as I type.  Brr!

Ballerina dress with Dress Up dies

This one looks like a little ballerina dress, don’t you think?  I used one of our doilies to create the skirt the the top from one of the dress dies.  Of course the dress form is a die as well.

Dress Up Framelit Dies

I love how the little hangers in the Hung Up Cute Clips pack fit the dresses perfectly!  They’re so fun!  The best part is that when you purchase a pack of Hung Up Cute Clips, there are three designs of clips, but you get 8 of each.  That means you can hang 8 dresses with just one little pack of clips!

I’m still saving that extra fun project . . . If you like these dresses, you’re going to love what I’ve made!

Today is the Baldwin, MD Tech Club meeting and Nancy’s party.  I can’t wait!!  Have you booked your Sale-A-Bration party?  I have some dates open on my calendar.  Please contact me!

All Dressed Up with Stampin’ Up!

Stampin' Up! All Dressed Up

Yesterday I took some time to play with the All Dressed Up Framelit Dies.  These dies are so incredibly fun!  This is just three of the dresses I made, altogether I made at least 11 different styles yesterday.  I’m sure I’ll be sharing more with you over time.

Pool Party Paper Dress

I was looking forward to sharing these dresses at the Mystery Hostess Event yesterday, unfortunately, I had sick family members and I need to reschedule the party.  I will post the make up date soon!

Stampin' Up! DSP Dress

I have one dress project I really want to share with you but I’m going to wait.  I want to show it in person at some events before I post it on there.  As you know, it never looks quite the same in a picture as it does in real life!

I hope you have a wonderful Friday!

Another Watercolor Winter Card

Another Watercolor Winter Card

I thought you might like to see another card using the Watercolor Winter stamp set.  The card yesterday showed this same stamp with the holly but this time I used the second stamp for two-step stamping.  I love two-step stamping!

We made this card at the last Christmas Card Class.  I think it’s beautiful!  We did use up a little Cherry Cobbler ribbon I had left from last year but I’m sure you could use the Cherry Cobbler Scallop Dots Ribbon.

We have a Christmas Card on Thursday, October 4, this week.  (Can you believe it’s October already?!)   There are still spots open so please contact me if you want to join us!

I hope your week is off to a wonderful start!

Stampin’ Up! Primrose Petals Petite purse

Stampin’ Up! Primrose Petals Petite purse

I love this little purse made with the Petite Purse die!  I used our new Primrose Petals cardstock rolled with our new Betsy’s Blooms standard wheel in Primrose Petals ink.  I adorned the front with one of our new Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and some Baker’s Twine.  So cute and so very simple to make!  Wouldn’t this be a cute favor for any girly event?

If you would like to see any of the items use to make this project, simply click on the link and you will see a picture from my online store.

Have you considered hosting a Stampin’ Up! party with the new Idea Book & Catalog?  Stampin’ Up! is giving an extra $50 in hostess benefits this month for parties of $450 or more!  Check out the Stampin’ Up! hostess promotion and contact me to set your date!  I have Saturday, June 16 and Saturday, June 23 open and a few weekday evenings.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you like the little purse!

Pink Pirouette Petite Purse

Pink Pirouette Petite Purse

I’ve been having fun with the new little Petite Purse Die!  Don’t you think these would make perfect baby shower favors?  I think they would be so incredibly cute at a shower where the baby onesie cards are used for the invitations!  Don’t you agree?

You will not find the Petite Purse Die in any of our catalogs right now, but you can find it as part of our Summer Smooches Product Line which is available for purchase during the month of April.  After that, the die will be available in the next Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog which comes out on June 1.

Here are a dozen I made with cute little handmade rosettes on them!  I think they are so adorable!

Here’s a close up of the paper flower I adhered onto the purses.  We are learning to make these flowers in the Gift Giving class, they’re so easy to make out of a small piece of cardstock!

Have I told you about the changes this year with the new Idea Book & Catalog?  This year, the new catalog will be coming out on June 1!  I’m so excited for a new catalog!  With the new catalog comes the retirement of a bunch of Stampin’ Up! product.  You’ll want to keep your eyes open for the list of retiring stamp sets that will come out on April 15 so you can check to see what you still need to purchase before they are gone!

The list of retiring accessories will be coming out on April 25.  Although I can only guess what might be on these lists, Stampin’ Up! has informed us that the jewelry and Decor Elements available in the current catalog will be on there for sure.  While Stampin’ Up! may offer a selection of these items in coming catalogs, they will not offer an entire line in the Idea Book & Catalog.

With each new catalog we always get new and exciting stamping goodies.  I can’t wait to see what we will get, can you?

Thank you for stopping by today!

Stampin’ Up! Style Matchbox

Stampin’ Up! Style Matchbox

We had so much fun at the Big Shot Fun classes yesterday!  W really had fun learning some “extra” ways to use the framelit dies outside of the ordinary.

As I was planning the last project for the day, with the Matchbox Die, I realized I hadn’t incorporated the doily die and of course I needed to!  Can you see it in this picture?

We used the doily peeking out from the little heart framelits!  Tying up the box with some bakers twine and a twitterpated button makes it lots of fun!

I hope you like the little box!  We sure had fun making them!

Thank you for stopping by to visit today!
