Set Sail in the Direction of Your Dreams

My summer is quickly coming to an end as school begins next Thursday.  I do want to try to get posts up so you can see the fun projects we’ve been working on, but please excuse me if they are a bit short.

This is a fun card we made in the Sailing Home Stamp of the Month class!

Artfully Aware & Heirloom Frames

Artfully Aware & Heirloom Frames

Two of the images from the Artfully Aware stamp set work very well with the rectangular Heirloom Frame die and embossing folder.  We used them together in our recent Coloring Class.  Check out the card we made.

Best Day Ever Card

Best Day Ever Card

I’m sorry for being MIA the last few days.  I’ve been painting my son’s room and it seems like the only time I’ve been able to pick up the paintbrush and roller has been after supper pretty much right up until bedtime . . .when I usually blog.  I’m getting there.  Primer done and first coat done . . .

I have been getting stamping done though as I prepare for classes.  Check out this card I made for Tech Club.Continue reading

Magnolia Thinking of You

Magnolia Thinking of You

We need to go back and catch up some of the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp of the Month cards.  I really enjoyed preparing for that class since it gave me a good excuse to pull out that big magnolia stamp!

Part of my goal with the stamp of the month classes is to try to use as many of the stamps (from the set) in our class as possible.  So, although I could easily create 5 different cards with that large magnolia, I made sure I focused some on the smaller magnolia as well so it’s not overlooked and forgotten.Continue reading

Hello Friend with Layering Alphabet

Hello Friend with Layering Alphabet

I have a fun card to share with you today using the Layering Alphabet dies and coordinating Lined Alphabet stamp set.  I really need to spend some more time with this set.  It gives a neat affect, but it takes a little more work to get it. Layering Alphabet Dies

What do you think? Do you like the looks of it?  It’s fun to use rainbow colors with the letters as well!

I will admit the new Hand-Lettered Prose dies have really made me want to use only those letter dies right now.  I love the script look and they are probably the easiest letter dies I have ever worked with.

I’m so thank you took the time to come by and visit today!  I hope your week is off to a great start!

Tea Time Stamps & Dies

Tea Time Stamps & Dies

Have you noticed that the Tea Together stamp set is still available?  The coordinating Tea Time dies are available in the catalog as well!  Previously the dies were only available for free during Sale-A-Bration with a $100 purchase, but now you can purchase them right from the catalog!

No Layer Good Morning Magnolia Card

No Layer Good Morning Magnolia Card

It’s easy to get stuck in a mindset that all our handmade cards have to be stunning with multiple layers and embellishments.  Although it certainly is fun to make those, it really is possible to have a stunning card with no layers.  Really!  Check out this card which we made in the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp of the Month class!Continue reading
