We had such a fun time at the StampThat Team Christmas Party Thursday evening!  Do you see those smiling faces?

Stampin' Up! Christmas Party

And here are some more!  I’m so glad they’re still smiling after I made them . . .

Stamping blindfolded StampThat Team Christmas Party

Stampin' Up! party

. . . stamp blindfolded!  Yes, I did!  I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time and I finally did!  One person was blind folded and their partner had to tell them what to do to get their card stamped and put together.  We had two teams going at the same time with a little competition for time.

I must admit, I was very impressed with our teams, they did a wonderful job!!  Of course we also made our special Christmas Trees and had lots of time for munching and chatting too.  I have a wonderful team of demonstrators!  If you aren’t part of the team and you would like more information, I’d love to hear from you!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures today, and thank you to whichever one of these lovely ladies reminded me to actually grab my camera this time!  Merry Christmas!

Handmade Hershey Christmas Trees

Hershey Chocolate Christmas Trees

I’ve been anxiously waiting to share this picture with you!  Aren’t these little trees adorable?!  I made some of these for the 1st-3rd graders in the Sunday School class my husband and I teach, as their Christmas presents.  We also made these last evening at the StampThat Team Christmas Party, thus the reason I didn’t show them with you yet, I didn’t want to give away our project!  They’re so fun, and who can resist chocolate?

Merry Christmas!

Holiday Frame Christmas Card

Here’s a nice, quick Christmas Card if you still need an idea for those last minute cards.  This is another card we made at the last Christmas Card class.  I don’t think you can go wrong with Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White – they’re always perfect together!

Happy Tuesday!

Stampin’ Up! Mittens Punch Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! Mittens Punch Christmas Card

Make a Mitten Christmas CardI saw a card someone made with the Make a Mitten stamp set and I sat down to make my own version.  I do not own the Make A Mitten stamp set, however, I do own the punch.  So, here is my version.  Pretty cute, don’t you think?  We made this card at the last Christmas Card Class at the Mason Dixon library in Stewartstown, PA.

Hopefully I will soon be posting the upcoming classes for January – March.  I’m sorry for the delay, I’m just trying to make sure I pick the best classes!

Thank you for stopping by to visit today!

Handmade Gift Card Holders Assortment

Handmade Gift Card Holders Assortment

We don’t give a lot of Gift Cards but yesterday I was busy making gift card holders.  Each year the families of our private school give gift cards to the teachers and staff.  This year I volunteered to make some handmade gift card holders.  You may recognize some of them from the Gift Card Giving Class this year and past years and others are quick variations.
The brown with red flower in the front is still my favorite I think.  The red purse in the back right with the green trim is a close second though, I’m really liking it!
Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you are getting creative with your Christmas wrapping and gift giving this year!

Unfortunately, I forgot to pick up the camera until people were starting to leave the Christmas Party last evening . . . . I did grab a few quick pictures that I thought you might like to see.  We had a great time eating, creating, and even singing!  I always love the Christmas parties – they’re so much fun!

I wish I had thought to use the camera earlier in the evening to show the fun cards that were created in our game and the cute little baby that came to visit us and the gift exchange and . . . . .

If you missed the party this year, I hope you’ll make your plans to join us next year!  What a great time!

Gingerbread Cookie Christmas Card

Gingerbread Cookie Christmas Card

I had a lot of fun with these little gingerbread men on their cookie sheet.  Aren’t they cute?  I got the idea for the cookie sheet from  someone else and couldn’t resist making my own card.  The brushed silver card stock makes a perfect cookie sheet!  It has just the right amount of shine to it to look just right for cookie baking.

I hope you will plan to join us for the StampThat Christmas Party tonight!  I’m off to continue work on the Jan-March Stampin’ Schedule (trying to get it ready for tonight but no guarantee) and of course party arrangements.  See you tonight!

Glimmer Snowflake Christmas Card

Glimmer Snowflake Christmas Card

Today I want to share my version of a card my upline made recently.  I love the Silver Glimmer Paper when combined with white and/or blue, it’s so brilliant!

Have you RSVP’d for the Christmas Party tomorrow evening?  I hope you will plan to join us!  The StampThat Christmas Party is always a favorite event of the year!

Happy Monday!

Heavenly Hosts Sing Alleluia

Heavenly Hosts Sing Alleluia

I was in an angel making mood yesterday!  As I worked the words to Silent Night kept going through my head.  Aren’t they lovely little angels?  I made 11 more angels to go with the one I showed you the other day.

Most of these will be gifts but I made this set for myself.  It might be hard to tell in the picture, but each angel has rhinestones on the dress, sleeves, sings and as a necklace.  The halo for each is a vintage faceted button.  They are so precious in real life!

This is my favorite of the three angels.  I guess it’s something about the lacy looking DSP combined with the doily dies and the beaded head that matches so well.

I hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start.  Thank you for stopping by today!

Lovely as a Tree Christmas Card

Lovely as a Tree Christmas Card

The Lovely as a Tree stamp set has been around forever, it seems, but it’s an old favorite!  I saw a Christmas card similar to this one not long ago and I wanted to make my own version.  It’s such a simple card but so lovely in its simplicity!  I think this would make a lovely card for many occasions, a winter birthday, thinking of you and more.  It’s nice to have a card idea you can make in just a matter of a couple minutes for those times when you need a last minute card.

Thank you for stopping by to visit today.  I hope you have a wonderful Friday!
