I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

I wish you could see this scrapbook page in real life, I love how it looks! Somehow small pictures don’t always do the pages justice! I saw a one-page layout someone did similar to the left-hand page so I decided to take that general layout idea and change the colors and papers to fit the pictures I had. Once I had that page done, I added the right-hand layout because I always like to have 2-page layouts.
This particular layout is from our 2nd visit to Ocean City, MD. As you can see in the pictures, we were not dressed to swim, it was cold! I’ve done a lot of pages for our Ocean City trips and I always seem to resort to these same colors, Kraft and Not Quite Navy. I really should try to create a little variety! You know, come to think of it, I think I always resort to the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper too. Wow! I guess I’m a creature of habit.
The Scrap Club will be doing a version of the same layout on Monday. I’m afraid I can’t show you pictures yet. As you can see, I made this page for this year’s Christmas pictures so it’ll have to wait a while. What a nice feeling to know I already have layout done for the pictures I’m about to take! Now if only I was always that ahead of the game!
There are openings for the Scrap Club beginning in the New Year! I hope you will consider joining us! We meet at the Mason-Dixon Public Library in Stewartstown, PA the third Monday of each month. At each meeting we make six scrapbook pages, usually in the form of three 2-page layouts. The cost is $15.00 paid one month in advance. There is a six month commitment for joining the club, however, if you would like to give us a try for just one month we’d love to have you!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website! I hope you’ll check back often for more creative ideas!

I’m afraid I haven’t had time to sit down and create something “new to you” yet this week. I’ve been very busy getting ready for Christmas. Lest you think I’m slacking off . . .
Here’s about half of the Christmas cards we’re giving out this year. I’m so thankful we can hand deliver a large majority of these! I have made at least 100 I think . . . Making them is great, it’s writing in all of them and addressing them that is the dreaded job!
I thought it would be nice if Micah had a little something for each of the kids in his class so I made these Angel Ornaments for each of them.
Then of course I decided to make something for each of the teachers in the school . . . Boy am I glad it’s a relatively small Christian school!
I have to tell you what my four year old said this morning after I took this picture of the ornaments. “Mommy, candy isn’t ornaments.” When I said it’s candy inside ornaments he replied, ” candy doesn’t go in ornaments.” Can you tell what his mind was focused on? Hopefully the teachers will be able to get past that and enjoy it!
I hope you’ll be able to join us for the Stampin’ Christmas party tomorrow! If so, you’ll get to make one of those Angel Ornaments yourself! Have a wonderful day!

My son’s private school has a tradition of giving the teachers and staff plates of handmade cookies. I thought little handmade ornaments like these would look cute on the very top! I’m picturing these with Dove chocolates in the middle – what do you think? Sound yummy enough?!
I made this ornament with the Circle Scissor Plus, the Sweet Treats stamp set, Gold Encore Ink, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, Sweet Treat cup, Very Vanilla narrow grosgrain ribbon, and the Finial Press embossing folder with the Big Shot.
Now all I need to do is finish making 22 of these! Anyone want to come help?
