Handmade Christmas Angel Ornament

Handmade Christmas Angel Ornament

I’m so excited about this beautiful little angel, aren’t you?  What a cute little ornament for any tree. I’m guessing it’s about 3 1/2 inches high.  I think these ornaments would be perfect gifts for teachers, volunteers,  . . . or anyone!  I can’t wait to make more!  I made this ornament with the Candelight Christmas Specialty DSP, a Vintage Faceted Button and the doily dies.  Really fun!

I want to make sure you saw the second post I made yesterday.  Stampin Up! is offering Christmas Ornament Kits while supplies last.  You can get the supplies for 10 ornaments for just $14.95.  Wow!  What a great deal!  You can see more details when you follow the link.

I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday. . . see if you can work in a little stamping today!

Silver & Elegant Eggplant Christmas Card

Silver & Elegant Eggplant Christmas Card

After several months of Christmas Card making I enjoy using some non-traditional colors for varieties sake.  The Come to Bethlehem stamp set is ever so elegant here with the Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White card stock, silver embossing, and Silver Glimmer Paper! This is one of the cards we made in the last Christmas Card class.  Isn’t it pretty?!

There are still two more Christmas Card classes as the Mason Dixon Library as well as the Christmas Card Buffet – don’t miss out on these great classes!  The library classes are on Thursday, December 6 and Tuesday, December 10, 6:00-8:00.  I hope you will make your plans to join us for these fun events!

For those of you who may be interested, my friend and I had a wonderful time baking Christmas Cookies on Saturday. I counted 936 cookies (not including the ones eaten throughout the day by the people 10 people in the house).  We spent exactly 10 hours making 9 different kinds of cookies (multiple batches of each) plus Peppermint Bark.  I’m sure I’ll be sharing a Scrapbook Page, or two, with you in the next couple weeks, you know I always like to scrapbook our cookie adventures!  If you’re planning to attend the StampThat Christmas Party on December 11, you’re bound to see some of those delectables sitting out!

I hope your week is off to a wonderful start!

Poinsettia Peace on Earth Christmas Card

Poinsettia Peace on Earth Christmas Card

Today I’m sharing my version of someone else’s card.  I love how the poinsettias look in the brown and vanilla.  Of course the Champagne Glimmer Paper sets off a special sparkle to catch the eye!
I am looking forward the Tech Club meeting in Baldwin, MD this morning and then I will head home to lots of Christmas cookie making with a friend of mine.  It’s going to be a very busy but very fun day!

Thank you for stopping by to visit!  I hope your day is extra special!

Christmas Blessings Poinsettia Card

Christmas Blessings Poinsettia Card

I love this Christmas Card!  Isn’t it absolutely beautiful?  I copied this card from someone else and I don’t think I really made any changes, it’s beautiful the way it is!  The Christmas Blessings stamp set is one of my favorite new Christmas sets this year.  I think it’s easy to overlook the set since it’s in the Idea Book & Catalog and not the Holiday Catalog where we tend to think all the new Christmas sets appear.

Do you have as many handmade Christmas Cards ready as you would like this year?  Couldn’t make it to the classes at the library?  Need a few more?  I have some card supplies left from various Christmas Card Classes this year.  I am offering a Christmas Card Buffet on Tuesday, December 4 at 1:00 and Wednesday, December 5 at 6:30 so you can make some extra cards.  This will not be like normal Christmas Card classes.  I will put out the supplies I have, you can choose to make whatever cards you would like from the supplies I have.  You will work at your own pace, asking me questions as needed and make however many cards you would like.  The cost is $1.50 per card with a minimum amount of $9.00 (6 cards).  If you are interested, please RSVP by the 3rd.

Handmade Christmas Gift Card holders

Handmade Christmas Gift Card holders

I’m excited to have two more sessions of the Gift Card Giving Class!  We’re going to be making more of these on Thursday, November 29 and Tuesday, December 4.  These are 3 of the 5 gift card holders being made.

I think this is my favorite of the gift card holders.  The flower looks Real Red in this picture but in reality, it is Cherry Cobbler and absolutely beautiful!

Have a wonderful, and perhaps snowy, day!

Watercolor Winter Stamp Set Christmas Card

Watercolor Winter Stamp Set Christmas Card

I love this simple card that is one layer with the exception of the flower which is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  It’s so pretty and elegant!  The part you can’t tell, is that I made this card with the Shimmer White card stock so there is an extra sparkle to the paper!

Thank you for visiting today!  I hope your week is off to a wonderful start!  I look forward to the Christmas Card class tomorrow night (RSVP today!), creating with the MOPS group in Shrewsbury, PA on Wednesday morning, classes here at the StampThat Studio on Thursday and Tech Club at UCRBC on Saturday.  It’s going to be a fun stamping week – I hope to see you!
