I know you have seen this picture before but I want to draw your attention to the Punch Pals class on Tuesday, March 30. This is going to be a fun class! Each participant will receive a 5″x5″ on board art journal (see page 185 of the Idea Book & Catalog). In the journal we will create all kinds of animals and other objects (like this frog) so you have a book of ideas to take home with you. (No, we will not get 40 different items done in that one night! We will do a bunch and get a good start and then I’ll schedule another class for the future to make more.)
The Punch Pals class is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30 at 6:00 P.M. in the StampThat! Classroom, Stewartstown, PA. PLEASE NOTE: the registration for this class ends Tuesday, March 16. I must have your payment of $20.00 for the class by that time for you to be able to attend. Why so early? The cost of the class includes the 5″x5″ journal I mentioned above and I need time to order those. We will be gluing these little guys directly onto the pages of the book so it is essential that you have the book.

I’m afraid we have to reschedule the Technique Club that should be meeting tonight. My husband is stranded out of state and it’s going to take me a while to dig out. We are rescheduling for next Thursday, February 18. I am sorry for any inconvenience!
I sat down today with the Thank You Card Class in mind. The class is schedule for next Monday, January 11. I’m very excited about this class being held at the Mason-Dixon library in Stewartstown, PA. Now, just because I said I was working with the class in mind doesn’t mean we’ll be making this particular card. To be quite truthful, I have not made my final decision about the cards we’ll be making in the class yet. This may be one but then again it may not.
Here’s a close-up of the card I made. I embossed the Stampin’ Up! Medallion in black and then used one of our 5/8″ Jumbo Brads in the center. I didn’t want a big knot on my Basic Black wide grosgrain ribbon so I used some silver cord to tie on my “bow”. The “Thank you” from the Fresh Cuts stamp set is stamped in our silver encore ink.
If you haven’t signed up for the class at the library yet please do so, with payment, by this Saturday so I can plan accordingly. The class is on Monday, January 11, 2009 and begins promptly at 6:00 P.M. The library closes at 8:00 so we will be done and out by that time. You can register by contacting me directly or by picking up a registration form at the library. The cost is $15.00 due at the time of registration.

We had so much fun at the Stampin’ Christmas party last night! Unfortunately I had so much fun I forgot to take pictures! Everyone was able to make three projects including a calendar similar to the one pictured above, a candy filled ornament and an angel ornament.

We had a wonderful time making Christmas cards at the Mason Dixon library tonight! There were 12 of us there with 2 who were unable to attend at the last moment. We made a lot of cards this evening!
