Changing Up A Handmade Card

Four the Holidays stamp set

The other day I shared a snowflake Christmas Card we made at the last Christmas Card Class.  One of you asked if it wouldn’t be possible to make the same card but flip flop the colors.  Well, here you go!  You’re just so smart!  I like this version much better and I bet you will too!

Big Shot Snowflake

Did you look back at the first card that was posted last week?  Which do you prefer?  I made a small change to the center of the snowflake too.  On the first card I used a rhinestone brad in the middle of the snowflake, this time, I used a Whisper White button and clear tinsel for a little variety.

A little family update, my oldest came down with the stomach bug yesterday and ended up unable to participate in his school Christmas program last evening.  “I will not get sick, I will not get sick. . .” that’s my motto this week!

Thank you for stopping by today!

  1. Aww, so sorry your son missed his Christmas program 🙁 Hopefully this bug is over in your family! Get lotsa rest Becky (haha, in your free time, right?).

I do love the above card – such a great way to switch up the one we made in class. Very versatile!

  2. So sorry Micah is sick, too. Yes, Becky, stay well, stay well, stay well! I like this card much better – snowflakes should just be white!! 🙂

  3. You’re right–I do love this version, though I really like the other one, too…not sure which I prefer! Great design, and great choice of color combination!
