Christmas Cookie Day 2017

Christmas Cookie Day 2017

Many of you know that I get together with a friend each Christmas so we can bake our Christmas cookies.  It’s a pretty big day and we tend to bake a LOT of cookies!

Saturday was our day.  We worked in the kitchen for about 9 hours.  This year all the kids (6) chipped in to help as well.  What a fun time!  I thought you might like to see some pictures.img_0045

Christmas Cookies

These are just a few of the kinds, I’ll not bore you pictures of each individual kind!  But here’s a picture of almost all of them . . . (One batch was still cooling elsewhere when this picture was taken.)

Christmas Cookies

So, what is the tie in with Stampin’ Up!?  Well, first off, if you are attending the StampThat Christmas Party this Thursday evening, you will get to sample these cookies!

StampThat Christmas Party

When:  Thursday, December 8, 6:30 P.M.
Where:  StampThat Studio
What to bring:  a party food to share, adhesive, and a $10.00 gift to exchange (optional)
Cost:  Free!
RSVP:  by Wednesday, December 7 so I can prepare for you

Our Christmas Party is always such a fun occasion!  Don’t miss out!

Baskets of Cookies

The other tie-in with Stampn’ Up!?  All those bags and ribbon!  We like to gift some of our handmade goodies.  Personally, I like to keep the flavors of our cookies separate,  so I package the different kinds in various Stampin’ Up! cello bags within the baskets.  Some are tied shut with ribbons and some get stapled with the Stampin’ Up! stapler!  Those cello bags come in handy!

You’ll be seeing more about Cookie Day before too long when I scrapbook the occasion!  I actually bought a new stamp set (coming out in the Occasions catalog in January) just for this page.  It’s a baking set!  I can’t wait to make those pages!

Thank you for coming by to visit.  Have a wonderful day!!
