Christmas Present – Stamped Bingo Game

Bingo Bits stamp set

When I allowed myself to talk myself into purchasing the Bingo Bits and Bingo Card stamp sets I promised we would put them to good use.  So, we’ve used them at workshops, we’ve used them on cards and wrapping, we used them at the Christmas party and yesterday, I put them to more good use!  My son’s 1st grade class all stamped bingo cards and we played a grand game of Bingo together at their Christmas party!

I’ve done pretty well at using the set, however, I decided it’s always good to another good use out of them!  So, instead of purchasing an item from the Dollar Tree for Micah gift to exchange in class, I went to work.  I stamped 8 of these bingo boards (all different of course) . . .

Star Punch

And I punched lots of stars from Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi cardstock . . .

And I used the Bingo Bits along with the 1″ and 1 1/4″ circle punches . . .

Bingo Game Set

To make a Bingo game set!  Here’s the completed set.  I used our cellophane bags, the Scallop Trim Border punch and some Hodgepodge Hardware to package the game.  I felt it was kind of a shame to have to wrap it up in wrapping paper after making such a cute package!

I am in the process of making a game for our family to play too.  I have all the bits and pieces, I just need to decide if I’m going to do the fancy packaging!  In case you’re wondering how I did it . . .

Paper Crafting

I used a folded piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to envelope the front and back pieces of each cellophane bag.  You can see in this picture that all I need to do is squeeze the sides and the bag opens to reveal the contents.  To help keep the contents inside, I used a Hodgepodge Hardware brad on the front as well as the back.  I tied some string to the brad at the back and simply brought the string around to the front and wrapped it around the front brad multiple times.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit today!
