I think it’s about time I get my college graduation documented. It’s only been 7 years now! Unfortunately I don’t have real great pictures and I didn’t find my dad, husband (fiance at the time) or best friend from college in any of the pictures. Alas, I worked with the pictures I had on hand and created this page.
To be quite truthful with you, I sat down with the Urban Oasis Designer Series Paper and some Basic Black cardstock and went from there. Once I got an idea of the style I wanted to go with then I came up with the pictures and so on. Our Flowers in Silhouette stamp (a single stamp available for just $7.95) matches the DSP perfectly so I used that to stamp on Kraft cardstock to carry the theme throughout. I used the Stampin’ up! Sweetest Stem embosslit die and the Buttons #5 sizzlit die to cut the branch and button accents for the layout. I still have not decided on a title for the layout but that will go beneath the photo on the right.
The Scrapbook Clubs in New Freedom and Stewartstown, PA will be doing a layout very much like this for club this month. If you are a member of the club you will want to pick pictures and crop them before we meet to best make use of your time at club.
