Colorstory 2-Page Scrapbook Layout

Colorstory 2-Page Scrapbook Layout

I had so much fun creating this scrapbook layout yesterday!  I saw a layout along the same lines in an old magazine and knew I needed to make one for Ethan.  Ethan and my husband play “colors” (their own made-up game with many variations) every night before Ethan goes to sleep.  He had to have a scrapbook page focused on colors!

Here’s a closer look at the left-hand page.  I used a lot of Stampin’ Up! accessories and alphabet dies along with oh so cute pictures!  I tried to use pictures that corresponded with the colors, either what Ethan was wearing or what he was holding.

There is a little more journaling on this page than I usually do but I had to share the story of the color game.  The nice thing is that there wouldn’t have to be this much journaling, this page can have a lot or a little, it all works with the layout!

We will be making this layout for Scrap Club on Monday evening.  This layout could be used in so many different ways. You could focus your pictures on various flowers in your garden, you could focus on various places you’ve visited that these colors remind you of . . . There are lots of ideas!

Today is the All Occasions Card Class at the Stewartstown library.  It thought you might like to have a quick sneak peek at one of the cards we will be making tonight.  It’s going to be cute!

Thank you for stopping by today!
