Cookie Day & Stampin’ Up! Packaging

Cookie Day & Stampin’ Up! Packaging

Cookie Day on Saturday was a great day!  I look forward to this day all year long!

My friend wasn’t coming until a little later in the morning so the boys and I got started with making 3 different kinds of treats (more candy than cookie) and then once my friend came, she and I made 13 different kinds of cookies, totaling up to almost 1,000 cookies!  I thought you might enjoy a couple pictures and then I’ll share some pictures of how I bundled some up for gifts to hand out yesterday at church.

Mmmmmm.  Are you hungry yet?!  We made some very yummy cookies!  You’ll just have to come to the Christmas Party and maybe you can try some!

As I mentioned above, we did gift a bunch of cookies already yesterday.

Basket of cookiesI found these super cute baskets at one of my favorite stores and we filled a few with cookies for the Pastoral staff and Micah and Jaan’s Sunday School teacher (I’m Ethan’s Sunday School teacher so . . . .)

Since we had so many different kinds of cookies, I didn’t want to mix flavors by putting them altogether.  As often happens, Stampin’ Up! came to the rescue!  I raided the StampThat Studio for cello bags and Cherry Cobbler ribbon (retired) to tie the cello bags.  Perfect!

Other treats went in clear envelopes (started running out of small cell bags!) and a little bow and retired snowflake embellishment was added!  (Aren’t these cute?  My oldest son made this snowmen treats with a little help from me.)

And here are a few more in cello bags with retired Stampin’ Up! ribbon.  The two different snowmen treats went to the various Awana teachers/ helpers that help with the classes the boys are in.

We handed out some more in gift bags that were either handmade or decorated with Stampin’ Up! goodies but I’m afraid I didn’t get a picture of those.

I hope you’re enjoying seeing some of the holiday activities from this household.  Can you believe Christmas is next week?!  I can’t!  Perhaps preparing for the StampThat Studio Christmas Party (which is tomorrow!) will help me realize!

Thank you for coming by today!
