Creating in black and white

Baroque Motifs scrapbook page

I mentioned yesterday how I enjoy creating in black and white at times.  I thought I’d share a scrapbook page I came up with a little while back.  I’m still trying to decide what pictures to put on this page.  I think a nice formal black and white picture would be nice, I just don’t have one.  One of these days I’ll find the perfect picture.

To make this page I used Basic Black, Basic Gray and Whisper White cardstock.  Along the bottom of the pages I stamped the swirly from Baroque Motifs stamp set.  The stripes were made with black and gray cardstock and then I used the scallop edge punch along the bottom edge.  The Basic Gray swirlies in the middle were made with the big Shot and the Swirly sizzlits decorative strip die.  On the right side I used the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Tulipe die to cut the decorative images.

baby scrapbook pageHere is another scrapbook page. I made this last year.  This will be the first page seen when Jaan’s scrapbook is opened.  I’m afraid the stamps and rub ons used on here are all retired but this is a page that can easily be changed up a little to fit the items you have on hand.

My husband and I are working hard today to try to figure out how to get video tutorials on my website.  Hopefully you’ll soon be seeing some!  Technology can be so helpful and then again it can be such a pain sometimes!  Stay tuned for video tutorials!!!
