Creating in circles today

Circle Scissor Plus Scrapbook Page

I received a comment on my blog yesterday from Lucia asking if I’ve made anything with me Circle Scissor Plus.  Um, well . . . now I have!  Here is a scrapbook page I created today.  I have finally used up all the zoo pictures and I have a page for each of my two older boys who visited the St. Louis Zoo.  (Some of the pictures on this particular page are also from Grant’s Farm in St. Louis but I didn’t feel like trying to tell them apart and make two separate pages.)  It may be hard to tell, but I did my journaling in a circle just to carry through the circular look.  It’s been a long time since I wrote like that!  Reminds me of middle school.

Scrapbook club members in both of my clubs can be picking out the pictures you would like to use with this layout in April.  This is one of the layouts we’ll be doing!  Check back tomorrow to see another!  If you live in York County Pennsylvania or Harford County Maryland you may be interested in attending one of my scrapbooking clubs.  I have a scrapbook club in New Freedom, PA that meets the first Monday evening of the month and another that meets at the Mason Dixon Library in Stewartstown, PA the third Monday evening of each month.  If you would like more information about either club please contact me.

Circle Scissor Plus CardLast evening I used the Circle Scissor Plus to make this card.  The Pink Pirouette part of the card is what actually opens up in case you’re wondering.  The colors used in this card are Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla.  The thank you stamp is from the All Holidays stamp, the designer paper is Bella Rose.  I used the Big Shot to cut out the flowers and leaves and then added some Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon to spice it up a bit.

Don’t forget tomorrow night is an open stamping  or PMS night here in Stewartstown, PA.  My home will be open from 6:30-9:30 P.M.  You are welcome to come by during that time to work on your own projects.  There is a cost of $5 to cover pizza and snacks.  All of my stamps, ink pads and punches are at your disposal.  If you are planning to come and have not yet RSVP’d please do.  We are going to have a good number of stampers and I want to make sure I have space (and pizza) for everyone.

As long as I can get my act together, I will have retired stamp sets out tomorrow night at PMS night for sale.  Soon I will get a list posted on here for any who may have interest as well.  These are available on a first come, first serve basis.
