Day of Gratitude Handstamped card

Day of Gradtitude stamp set

At the Stampin’ Up! regional I attended last week we made several projects using the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  I thought I would share one of them with your today.  It’s such a simple card but I like the simplicity of it.

Handmade card

What I like about this card is the fact that it only requires just two colors, Old Olive and Whisper White.  Sometimes it’s easy to forget about the simple cards that require only a couple colors and just one stamp set.  It’s nice to be reminded that we don’t have to have a ton of stuff to make a lovely card (although it sure is fun to have lots of goodies!)

Thank you for stopping by today!  I look forward to making Christmas Cards with a bunch of ladies tonight at the Mason-Dixon library!  We’re going to have a great time!

  1. Beautiful! I appreciate your showing those of us who don’t have a lot of “goodies” that we can still make pretty things. The layers and multi-stamping are gorgeous when you make them but completely overwhelm me when I try to think through where to start and what to put together. Love these super-simple ones that are just as gorgeous!

  2. This is a keeper!

  3. This is such an elegant card and such a simple one to make. Thanks for blessing my day. 🙂

  4. The card is really pretty – elegant and eloquent. I have overlooked the possibilities of this stamp set, but I like it very much when I see how you have used it!
