Elegant Lines & Tags til Christmas

Elegant Lines Embossing Folder

I had a few minutes to sit down last evening.  I got the initial idea for this card from a fellow stamper and then took it from there to make it my own.  I used our new in-color Concord Crush along with the Tags til Christmas stamp set, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Whisper White taffeta ribbon dyed with a Concord Crush Stampin’ Write Marker, and our Basic Rhinestones.

I think it’s pretty and elegant, what do you think?  I thought I’d go ahead and try one more variation just for the fun of it.

Tags til Christmas stamp set

This time I used Pear Pizzazz ink on the embossing folder and debossed the  cardstock.

Which do you prefer?  I hope you’ll take a minutes to leave a comment with your vote!

WOW!! How stunning! They are both so rich and elegant. I recently got this EF and can’t wait to get some time to use it. Personally, I think I like the second one BUT I like them both…great job!!! You inspire me…

Both are beautiful and usually I like the all white embossing , but if I had to say which I prefer, I think I’d vote for #2. Thanks for reminding us of that technique. I haven’t used it for a while.

The first one is beautiful, and the second one is gorgeous – so YOU decide! :o )

I like them both, but for some reason the de-embossed one just looks nicer to me. I haven’t tried that technique, but this card sure makes me want to.

I like both card, just can’t decide on a favorite one.
I tried to CASE the second one using Night of Navy, but I can’t seem to do it. First problem I have is the folder, no matter what I do, my Whisper White and Very Vanilla CS always comes out somehow ripped or wrinkled within the lines. I tried several different sandwiches, but the outcome is never really great.
When I inked the folder, I used the ink pad to tap on the folder, but your color seems to come out much nicer than mine. What do you do to ink up? Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
I also wonder if these cards are one layer cards? Thanks for sharing and listening to me.

Both are nice but I like the second one the best. It seems to stand out more and looks a little more elegant to me.

I guess I will be the different one. I really like the first one! Very simple but elegant to me. This might have to case for my own Christmas cards! Thanks for sharing!!

I like the first one better–looks as though the ornament is hung on the “branch.” Plus, I prefer the simplicity.
