Family Puzzle Scrapbook Layout

Family Puzzle Scrapbook Layout

I purchased a 1000 piece puzzle to give to the family for Christmas with the idea that we would put it together over the Christmas break.  We did!  That’s the first time we’ve done such a large puzzle, but it was a lot of fun to work together on it.  I think I’ll make it a tradition!

Of course I had to take some pictures and make a scrapbook layout for them.

I really like this puzzle.  The shape is especially fun.  I thought about gluing it to keep it together, but the boys wanted to be able to put it together again sometime, so it’s tucked back in the box now for a future date.

The picture of the Statue of Liberty in the upper left corner is a picture of the entire puzzle (I had to stand on a chair to take that) and then the other pictures are close ups of various parts of the puzzle.

We are making this layout in Scrap Club this month.  The retired designer papers we are using are perfect to use for nautical pictures, but predominate red, white, and blue makes it work well for patriotic as well.

I hope you are enjoying the scrapbook pages I have been sharing!  I have more to share from my weekend away, but I’ll save some for later.  I want to get back to sharing some of the cards and other creations we’ve been making in class lately.

Don’t forget about Sale-A-Bration which is going on right now.  This is a great time to get freebies!

Happy Wednesday!

  1. I think that the “Family Puzzle Scrapbook Layout” is a great idea Becky and everyone has worked hard and come up with something different. That is great for the family. Thank you for sharing.
