Father's Day Nature Silhouettes

Nature Silhouettes & Teeny Tiny Wishes

I spent a good bit of my stamping time today working on special, top secret scrapbooks that I can’t tell you about at the moment.  I did find a couple minutes to make a quick card.  I recently made my dad a Get Well card using the Nature Silhouettes but I don’t think he’ll mind another handmade card using the same stamp set.  He really likes deer!

Handmade Father's Day Card

What do you think?  The stamping, from the Nature Silhouettes and Teeny Tiny stamp sets, is all embossed in silver.  To make the dots I used our retired 1/8″ handheld punch to punch a bunch of holes out of a piece of Brushed Silver cardstock.  A little 2-way Glue Pen does wonders to adhere these little circles.  I originally wanted to use some silver brads (just 2 or 3) but I didn’t want to have the backs showing inside the card so . . . . I improvised.

What do you think?  Do you like it?  Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Beautiful!

Can you recommend a good cardstock? Do you know of any cardstock that is precut? Thank you.
