Fleece Flower from the Big Shot

by Becky Jensen on January 28, 2010

Woo Hoo!  After several days we are almost back to normal around here!  The electricity, phones and internet are back up and going.  Now all we have to do is get the van fixed up from it’s scratches, dings and dents (ie. new front and back windshields etc.)  If you don’t know what I’m talking about just check out the post before this one.

I’m so happy to get back to Stamp That and get to work!  While I was at my parents my mom and I went out and did a little bit of shopping.  We bought fleece!  What do you think of my flower?

I used the Flower, Daisies #2 die to cut the various pieces out of fleece.  In the middle is a Dum Dum lollipop.  It’s very simple and easy to make!  It only takes a couple minutes.  I can picture using this idea at Valentines Day or as a little gift for anyone suffering from cabin fever or as a favor at a shower or party or . . . . Where else can you picture using this?  Leave a comment to let us know!   On February 1 I will pick a name from the comments left and I’ll send that person some flower pieces I’ve cut out with the Big Shot so they can create their own!

Thank you for stopping by!  I have some fun things to share with you in the next week and then next Thursday we’ll be heading into the Open House blog Tour.  I know you’re going to love the tour and I think you’ll be surprised at what we’re going to show you!

Oh, Becky, I’m so happy that things are on an upturn! The fleece flower is so cute; I had no idea that a die would cut something that soft. I can see a young man proposing with a diamond ring in the center!

These would be good as a bouquet for Mother’s Day!

I’m so glad things are almost back to normal. The flowers are so cute. I would be a great mother/daughter project! I could see a bunch of these done in red, white and blue to make a great 4th of July centerpiece.

Glad to hear things are back to normal! Love this felt flower! I would like to make a bouquet of these to use as a centerpiece. Works for me. CV

Fooey! I’m sorry I missed this one in time! ;) Very cool–it’s amazing how many very different looks you can get from one tool and myriad materials!
