Friends 24-7 Stamped Card

Friends 24-7 stamp set

I spent all afternoon yesterday working (aka. playing) in preparation for the Stewartstown Technique Club.  This is one of the cards I made, I’m so excited to share it with you!  I think it’s just beautiful!  It has a country feel to it.

Technique Club - Stewartstown, PA

Here’s a close up for you.  Don’t you just love the look of that wood with the pealing paint?  That is what we learned to do in Technique Club last night.  It’s so much fun!  I have a feeling I’m going to be using this technique a lot, there are so many fun cards to be made with it!

The flowers were stamped with the Friends 24-7 stamp set and then colored with Stampin’ Write Markers.  The colors used for the flowers were Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke and Pear Pizzazz.  I tied some Linen Thread around the base of the card, it’s just the right touch!

Thank you for stopping today!

  7. This is gorgeous!! I had to come check it out on your blog after seeing your LNS mail. You never mentioned what the technique was that you used for your background. Do you have instructions or a link to where it is posted. Thank you in advance Becky for any info you can provide.
