Some of you have asked if I decorate all of my wrapping paper and gift bags. Uh, sorry, I love stamping but I’m afraid I’m not that ambitious! Looking at all the fun Black Friday deals we found yesterday, there’s no way I can make all my own wrapping for that!
I did start my Christmas wrapping today though (just 5 presents mind you) so my in-laws can take the gifts back to NY with them. I’m getting a new sister-in-law in May so I figured I’d better do her gift up really pretty. What do you think? To be quite honest, I think the bag may be more exciting than the gift, but we’ll let her decide that.
Here’s the snowflake decoration made with the Big Shot Snowflake #2 die, some tinsel and a Regals button. I used some of the tinsel to wrap around the front handle of the bag because I was being eccentric (I was called “eccentric” today, nothing to do with stamping, but I don’t think I’ve ever been called that before). How should I take that??
In the first picture you may notice there is a piece of Hodgepodge hardware in the lower right corner, that is a piece of our retired pewter hardware. I wrote the recipients name inside the hardware.
The other gifts included a hand stamped Gift Card tin, hand stamped gift tags and even a handmade paper bow but I’m afraid I didn’t snap pictures of those. I hope you’ve enjoyed this little peek. Maybe if I keep giving you little peeks I’ll get some of my wrapping done early and make it look extra special. Now, how many more presents are there to wrap??

It’s beautiful! I especially like what you did with the tissue paper. Eccentric is not an adjective I’ve ever thought of for you . I think of you as creative, innovative, talented, encouraging, loving, energetic, enthusiastic – I don’t have time to list other descriptors that apply to you!
Thanks for sharing all those wonderful qualities with us.
Pam
“Eccentric”? I can see that. …definitely a lovable trait in you, of course!
I like the way you used the tinsel to tie through the button.
