Girl Scouts Invitation for Moving On

by Becky on March 5, 2009

Girl Scouts inviteI’ve been invited to stamp with a small group of Girl Scouts tonight!  There are 5 girls moving from Brownies into the next level and we are going to be making invitations for their graduation event.  (As you can tell, I don’t have any girls in girl scouts so I’m not sure what the event is technically called.)

I hope the girls will like this card.  They will be making two each to give to their parents and grandparents.  I’m very excited to stamp with the group!

In case you’re wondering about this cute girl scouts stamp set, it is called Girl Power and I’m afraid it is retired.  Isn’t it cute?  A good friend let me borrow the set to make these (her little girl is one of those moving up.)

The inside of the card is quite simple but I want to make sure we have plenty of time to make the cards and I’m not sure exactly how much information they need to write in them.

girl scouts cardIf you know a Girl Scout leader in the York, PA area that would like me to do an event with the group, please feel free to contact me.  I would love to help out and my price for projects is quite reasonable.  I make 3-D projects, cards, scrapbooks and more.

Hi!
I love the Girl Scout stamps!! I was a Girl Scout leader for 6 years with my dayghter & I wish these were around back then!
I am now a Cubmaster for my son’s Cub Scout Pack & I have seen a couple of Scout stamps on eBay. I am looking for a Cub Scout stamp & cannot find one anywhere. Does SU have one? Can you tell me how to order it if they do?

Hi Carol,

Thank you for stopping by my website and leaving a comment! I believe Stampin’ Up! used to have a Boy Scouts stamp set back when they had the Girl Scout stamp set. Unfortunately, that was back before I even became a demonstrator. Your best bet is to keep an eye on Ebay I’m afraid. Those stamps are well liked and tend to be hard to get ahold of. I wish I could be of more help!
