God's Beauty Butterfly Card

Baroque Motifs Butterfly CardIsn’t the butterfly beautiful?  I guess that’s why they made it part of the God’s Beauty Level 1 hostess set!  I stamped the butterfly in Basic Black ink and then used Stampin’ Write Markers (Pretty in Pink, Apricot Appeal and So Saffron) to color it’s wings.  I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the butterfly.

The “Mr. & Mrs.” stamps are from the Together Forever stamp set and then the swirly and flowers are from the Baroque Motifs stamp set.  The flowers are stamped in Pretty in Pink, Apricot Appeal and So Saffron craft (pigment) ink.

I don’t use the “Mr. & Mrs.” stamp very much, it’s just not an everyday stamp.  I put it on this card because I thought it would work for a wedding card.   I think if I make another of these cards I’ll add a layer of Pretty in Pink cardstock between the Whisper White and Basic Black layers of cardstock.  It could use that little extra splash of color.

Don’t forget tomorrow evening, April 24, is PMS (Pizza, Music and Stamping) night at my house in Stewartstown, PA.  I hope you’ll be able to make it!  If you could RSVP it would be helpful.  An RSVP is not mandatory to attend however.

Today I spent some time preparing for a card class that I will have in Rising Sun, MD on Tuesday, April 28.  I can’t wait to teach the class.  I’m getting together some fun cards!

  1. Is that the same butterfly stamp we used in our scrap book layout in Stewartstown on Monday? Its look so lovely colored like that 🙂
