Gold Rush VBS Scrapbook Page

Well Worn DSP

I had fun using the Well Worn Designer Series paper to make this scrapbook layout for our Gold Rush Vacation Bible School theme this past summer.    When I looked through these pictures I immediately thought of the Well Word DSP, it has just the right effect for a old, worn out gold rush town.  I added in some First Edition DSP and the Day of Gratitude stamp set.

I thought it would be fun to cut out a picture of the cowboy hat my son was wearing and showcase it inside the Cajun Craze Scallop Circle.  I popped the hat up with a Stampin’ Dimensional, it makes for a fun little accent for the page.

And here’s the right-hand page.  I used a strip of Very Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon beneath the First Edition DSP to add a little texture.

Those in the scrapbook club will be making this scrapbook layout on Monday evening.  I realize not everyone has Gold Rush pictures but I think this layout will work well for fall, boy scout, grunge style . . . pictures.

  1. Would work well on my pages for panning for gold in Alaska!!
