Handmade Card That Didn't Make the Cut

Thanks for Caring stamp set

When I was preparing for the start of the Above and Beyond classes, oh so long ago, I made more than the required six cards.  If I remember correctly, I made eight.  Naturally, that meant some had to go.  Sometimes I turn to my husband to help me make the necessary cut and sometimes I even turn to Micah and Jaan for help.

This is one of the cards they decided to cut.  I think it’s pretty but did agree with them.  I thought you might like to see the card though, hopefully it will give you some inspiration!

Handmade Card

I had seen a card made similar to this and decided to give my own a try.  I used Rich Razzleberry, Certainly Celery and Whisper White colors along with the Framed Tulip, Perfect Polka Dots and Square Lattice embossing folders, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Oval punch, Satin Ribbon, Thanks for Caring stamp set and Basic Rhinestones.  (Does that last sentence qualify as a run-on sentence?)

Isn’t it a pretty card? I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing it today!  I’d love to hear from you if you have a minute to leave a comment!  Have a wonderful day!
