Handmade Card with No Stamping

Springtime Vintage DSP

I had a fun time yesterday playing around with one of the techniques we’re going to be learning in Tech Club tonight.  It’s hard to believe I made this card using exclusively Stampin’ Up! supplies (well, that part isn’t hard to believe at all!) and NO stamps!  What got into me?  I guess I was just having too much fun with the new Springtime Vintage DSP, Crotchet Trim, Seam Biding and Springtime Vintage buttons.

I really think I should send this card to my grandma.  She used to be a quilter and I think she would enjoy receiving this!  Perhaps I will.

I am looking forward to Tech Club tonight.  As usual, we’re going to be learning some fun techniques!

Don’t forget about the Stampin’ Up! Accessory Product Shares I am offering.  The last day to sign up for these is this coming Monday, February 14.  I will be placing the order for the Stampin’ Up! Satin Ribbon, 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and Buttons on Tuesday, February 15.

Thank you for stopping by to visit today!

  1. This dsp works beautifully together and you did a great job showcasing them. I am not a quilter and am usually not drawn to cards “built” like that, but I absolutely love this. I really like the way you embossed over the design to give it a “cushiony” feel like a quilt. Not seen this before…makes me want to cuddle up under a quilt. Beautiful!

  2. This is GORGEOUS Becky! Oh my goodness, when the web page loaded and I saw this card, I actually caught my breath! I just love this card – cannot wait to learn how you made it tonight at Tech club! 🙂

  3. WOW as usual.

  4. Really neat card and good for many “occasions.” Thanks!

  6. This is just gorgeous Becky!!! I LOVE it.

  7. How special this is! Makes me want to dig out all my quilts and look at them again. And, especially, it makes me want to make a card like this! The embossing is a beautiful touch, too – I agree with Robbie’s comment there. Lovely, as always.
