Handmade Decorative Birdhouse Ornament

by Becky on July 24, 2010

Birdhouse from a milk carton

I’ve seen a bunch of birdhouses that have been made from the Stampin’ Up! milk carton die.  Finally it’s my turn to make one and here it is.  Along with the die I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch, the Two Step Bird punch and one of our new sticky half-back pearls.

The birdhouse uses several of our new Stampin’ up! colors including Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, and Daffodil Delight along with Certainly Celery.  To give some detail to the bird I used a More Mustard ink pad and Stampin’ Sponge.

Let me show you a close up.

Stampin' up! Scallop Trim Border & Bird Punches

For those who came to my New Catalog Party a few weeks ago, I promised you would be able to make a special additional project if you signed up for a future class that night.  How would you like to make this little birdhouse?  I hope that excites you!  I think these are incredibly cute!

I look forward to seeing a bunch of you this coming Monday evening for classes!
