Here’s a cute little gift idea. This is a jumbo paper clip from Staples. This can be used as a bookmark (although I hear librarians aren’t too fond of these being used on library books) or a paper clip.
To make this I simply used a piece of Stampin’ Up! chipboard which I coated with Night of Navy Craft Ink. You can do that simply by pressing the ink pad right onto the chipboard. Then I used Heat and Stick powder (click here for a tutorial on heat and stick powder) to hold on the fine cosmo. The reason I used the Night of Navy ink instead of Versamark was because I wanted a dark background showing through under the cosmo instead of the kraft chipboard color.
A little bit of Crystal Effects holds the chipboard to the paper clip and it’s ready. This would make a cute little gift for an upper elementary age child or even an adult to keep their files straight.
