Handmade Lillies from Stampin' Up! Oval Punch

Paper Lillies

While my sister and I played . . . uh, worked . . . this week we decided to give these lilies a try.  No, we didn’t come up with them, we’re just good at using other people’s ideas!

Stampin' Up! Oval Punch Lilies

Would you believe these lovely lilies are made using a Stampin’ Up! oval punch?  I find it so fun to make different flowers using our punches!

Box and flowers

We put the flowers we made on top of a handmade box made from Very Vanilla and Certainly Celery.  The box is stamped with the Wedding Sweet stamp set and we tied some Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon around the lid.  It’s hard to take a picture that really does justice to this box!

Another box

Here’s another box.  I made this one yesterday at the party I did for the ladies that first got me into stamping.  I don’t usually do projects this detailed at my parties but when it comes to the ladies that started me on stamping, I have to do something special!  After all, they helped me find a job I love!

This box is my favorite of the two.  The Elegant Eggplant its lovely and gives nice contrast to the lilies.  (My sister is the one who chose the colors for this box, isn’t she good?  If I could just convince her to become a demonstrator!)

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing pictures of our lilies!  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what else I have to share with you!

I am eager to try the whole project – but who is special enough to give it to?! 🙂 (I confess, I am still in possession of my rose.)
