Handmade Silver Anniversary Card

Anniversary Card

The wedding is over and the next one isn’t until . . . less than a month from now.  I’m so glad to get back to “normal” for a bit!

Being in wedding mode, I thought I would share this card with you.  I got the original idea from someone else and made my own version.  Isn’t it lovely?  We are making this in the Above & Beyond class as well!  Don’t you just love that shine?

I made a card similar to this to give to the bride and groom this past weekend.  Instead of the Whisper White satin ribbon, though, I  used some retired Bashful Blue taffeta ribbon to match their colors and “congratulations” across the bottom.  I wish I had thought to take a picture before giving it away!

  1. NICE

  2. That is gorgeous!! Just email the bride and groom and ask them to take a picture of it and email it to you! Voila!

I was looking for a wedding card for my cousin and found this one on Pinterest. It is so beautiful! I love the “Bliss” stamp but never thought of it for a wedding card. I’m not sure if you used silver ink or embossed but I’m going to try embossing. Also, does the ribbon go all around the card or did you glue a strip across the front? Hope you don’t mind if I CASE this beautiful card. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi Roberta,

I made this card a couple years ago but I am guessing the ribbon wrapped around the front flap of the card, that tends to lend a more polished look, in my opinion.

      Happy CASEing!

What font are you using for our names in reply?

  16. Where was I when the “Handmade Silver Anniversary Card” was shared with everybody? It must have been before I knew you. It is just plain down right gorgeous. I love the color and the way you made it shine sets it off. The bow is a perfect size and color for this creation. Our 46th anniversary is the 27th of April and have never received a card for this occasion. Thanks so much Becky for sharing your beautiful creation.
