Handmade Wedding Invitation with Wedding Sweet

Wedding Stationary Set

Welcome to day 2 of the Special Occasions Blog Tour!  I want to share another Wedding Invitation and corresponding wedding stationary.  You’ll notice that I’m using Very Vanilla again for this set.  There are two reasons for this, first because I have a bride that wants Very Vanilla and second, because it’s a little easier for me to photograph than white.  Naturally, all of the items I’m showing you could very easily be changed to Whisper White and the other colors could easily be changed as well.

Do it yourself wedding invitation

Once again the wedding invitation is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ but this time I turned it around for the fun of it.  The stamp set I used is Wedding Sweet.

Wedding Response Card

The response card is much the same as the invitation, just smaller and I used the smaller stamp out of the same stamp set.  Don’t you just love that Very Vanilla satin ribbon?

Wedding Place Cards

Aren’t these place cards adorable?  If only I’d known about Stampin’ Up! and all the lovely things you can make eight years ago (well, 8 years on the 25th).  I could have had such beautiful handmade wedding decorations!

Wedding Favor

I’m afraid I didn’t have as much time to spend on designing favors as I would have liked.  This box is made like the one I shared yesterday, however, this time I made the flower from our Scallop Circle Punch and cut the leaves from Little Leaves die and the Big Shot.

Sour Cream Favor

I did have a chance to make this little sour cream container up.  These are very easy to make and then they can be filled with little dinner mints or M&Ms or whatever suits your fancy.  I used the “Mr. & Mrs.” stamp from the All Holidays stamp set to decorate the edges.

Wedding Thank You Note

Lastly, we have the Thank You card to match the other stationary.  “Thank you” is from the Fresh Cuts stamp set.

So, do you like this set or yesterday’s set better?    Yesterdays was my personal favorite but I think this set is very soft and elegant.    I hope you’ll check back again tomorrow for my next set, yet again it’s in different colors and with a different stamp set.  Thank you for the comments left – I love to read them!

Don’t forget to go on to visit Jannette Shaw next!

Wow, these are so pretty. Fabulous job. Almost makes me want to get married again–but NOT quite, lol.

Becky – these are gorgeous! (I loved yesterday’s too!) I wish I would have known about Stampin’Up and YOU nearly five years ago!! Haha! So lovely! Can’t wait to see what the next day brings!

I would be extremely happy with either set but I’m a little more fond of the set from yesterday. You are a VERY talented lady, thank you for sharing your ideas, they are beautiful!

Although I thought yesterday’s set was very elegant, I am not thrilled with black for a wedding (old-fashioned, I guess!). I would like it better than today’s if it had been a different color, but today’s set is very pretty and seems more like a wedding to me! They are both quite beautiful and special, and I’m looking forward to seeing more tomorrow!

Both sets are beautiful! Totally different ‘feel’ for each one. Where do you find envelopes for the large size invitation?

I like them both for different reasons. Yesterdays was elegant and classic (which would be more my personal preference). Today’s is a lighter-hearted and springy. It’s still a beautiful set!

I liked the blue color, very well with the flower color. Design the wedding invitation is very natural, modern and simple
