I can’t believe today is the last day of Kindergarten for my son! Graduation is tonight and it’s a very big event!
I ran around yesterday afternoon as reality hit and I realized I was running out of time to make gifts for Micah’s teacher and teacher’s aid. Yikes! I remembered I had two boxes made up out of Kraft cardstock, undecorated. All I had to do was decorate the boxes and make cards to fill them. No problem!
Not long ago I showed you some of the easiest cards possible to make. You can view the Flower Fancy handmade cards here. I had three of the cards already made so I quickly made up 17 more of the cards.
I made the flowers using the Scallop Circle Dies and retiring Cameo Coral cardstock to match the cards. I cut out 2 of the large circles for each flower as well as 3 of the medium size and 3 small circles. I dampened the scallop circles with water, wadded them up, unwadded them and stuck them together with a brad. Add a little ribbon, tags, the cards & envelopes and we’re ready to go!
Whew! We can go on with graduation now!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my website! I hope you’ll visit again soon!

That is a terrific teacher’s gift! So pretty, and something actually useful
Congrats to the little graduate!!
And wait…you said you ‘quickly’ made up 17 cards?!? That would take me weeks! Hahaha! That’s why I take card classes, right?
Really cute! As a retired teacher I can say that I would have been happy to receive such a nice, thoughtful gift. Handmade items are always special.
I definitely agree with Laura. Becky, you are one of the few – very few – people I know who could say, “Only 17 more cards – no problem!” The gifts are beautiful and what a nice gift, too! Any teacher would be thrilled. (I sure would have!)
Have a wonderful family evening. Congratulations, Micah!
Oh wow, those flowers are beautiful!! tfs
