Handstamped 3×3 Cards For All Occasions

Oval All Handstamped CardI received the Oval All stamp set and coordinating Scallop Oval Punch today from one of my upline members, Connie.  They were part of a prize I won from her and I wanted to sit down and use them right away!

This is the first 3″x3″ card I made.  I used the Le Jardin Botanique set along with the Oval All and the same pretty Almost Amethyst color as yesterday.

Simple Handmade Wedding Gift CardAfter making the first card I decided to take that same basic layout and make a couple more cards to show how you can change the stamp set and colors to make similar and yet different cards once you find a layout you like.

I don’t do 3×3 cards too often but I find they are handy to have when I’m returning a dish or to attach to a gift I’m giving someone for an occasion such as a birthday, bridal or baby shower or even a Christmas gift.

Wonderful Watercolrs & Oval AllThe last card I made uses the Wonderful Watercolors and Oval All stamp sets.  For this one I didn’t have any Night of Navy brads so I simply punched two small circles out of cardstock and put in place of the brads.  I decided to add a little strip of Night of Navy narrow grosgrain ribbon as well for a little variety.

These three cards are a good example of why I love making my own handstamped cards so much.   As a stamper, you can take an idea (ie. layout, color pattern . . . ) and change it all up to be something beautiful that fits any occasion.  There’s no right or wrong way to design the card, I make it the way I like it!

I guess I can take that just a little farther and say that’s why I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator too.  I can take my business and within some simple guidlines given by Stampin’ Up!, I can build it the way I like.  I can demonstrate the items I like, I can run my business the way that suits my family and myself the best and I can enjoy it!

If you would like to do what I do, we have a special $75 Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit through the month of May.  By simply visiting my demonstrator website, clicking the Join Now button and entering the password XP58nrL you can join my team today!

  1. I love all three, but I especially like the thank you card with the little butterfly! Very dainty 🙂

  2. Very pretty wedding card! My son is getting married in June (next month…gasp!), so I’m “shopping” for the perfect design…this one is definitely in the running!
