I had a few minutes the other day to just sit down and stamp totally for the fun of it, not with a specific class or party in mind. (Although I may end up using this for a class or party eventually.)
I thought it would be nice to use the Holy Family stamp set since I haven’t had time to try it out yet. So here you go. This is what I came up with! The “holy family” and the wording is all stamped with the gold encore ink pad. For cardstock I used Bravo Burgundy, Brushed Gold and Very Vanilla. The ribbon is wide grosgrain Very Vanilla and then I used a gold brad to fasten down the end. The ribbon reminds me of a ribbon bookmark on a Bible.
This card has a bunch of layers but it was very easy to design and would be very easy to make multiples of. I very well may make more of these for some of my Christmas cards this coming year. (I always end up with a lot of variety as we give out A LOT of Christmas cards.
In case you’re wondering, the saying in the Holy Family stamp set is, “May the true joy of Christmas light your world and lead you into a new year that shines with God’s blessings.” This stamp set is available as a set of three in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 23.
Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend!
