Inspired by Nature Scrapbook Layout

We had a wonderful time at Technique Club last night!  We learned some FUN techniques (there’s a little inside joke there) and had a great time stamping and laughing together!

After everyone left, and the kids were in bed, I sat down and put this scrapbook layout together.  This is the coach house we rented at the end of August near Bethany Beach, DE.  We’ve never rented a home like that for vacation but it was wonderful!  I have a bunch of pictures from our vacation but chose to devote one layout simply to the house and the community it was in.

As I got these pictures out I immediately thought of the Inspired by Nature stamp set and knew I had to incorporate it into the page.  The grass works wonderfully and I just couldn’t think of anything else I wanted to use in its place.  I stamped the grass with Always Artichoke and Mellow Moss Craft inks.

I used Mellow Moss narrow grosgrain ribbon and then some of our new Epoxy Brads from the Occasions Mini Catalog to accent the pages.  Eventually I’ll probably put the dates written rather small on the Whisper White cardstock along the right side.

We will be making this layout for the Scrapbook Club meeting this month along with the layout I showed yesterday and one more to come.  Scrap Club is a wonderful time to get six 12×12 scrapbook pages complete in 2 hours or less.  We are looking for more members to join us at the Mason-Dixon library in Stewartstown, PA so if you live in the area and have any interest please contact me.

Thank you for stopping by to visit!
