It's time for an official visit

Tooth Fairy stamp

The tooth fairy is making her 6th visit to our house tonight (note, I’m writing this at 10:50 P.M. on the 1st to be posted at 12:01 A.M. on the 2nd).    I figure it is time for her to make an “Official” visit this time, all decked out!  Normally she slips the ziplock bag out from beneath Micah’s pillow, and replaces the tooth with a coin.  This time she’ll replace it with a little something more.

This stamp is called Tooth Fairy (imagine that!) and can be found on page 18 of the Idea Book & Catalog.  It’s a single stamp for a very good price!

The photo makes it a little hard to tell the colors.  The base is Bravo Burgundy with Baja Breeze ribbon (retired and of course the stamped image is on Whisper White.

Two Tags Die

My husband asked if I really wanted to share this picture because you’d know how cheap we are.  Well, I’ll admit it, I’m cheap!  Micah knows his coins and how many cents their worth but it really hasn’t quite “clicked” yet.  So, while he’s happily oblivious, why give away the world?

This pictures shows the Bravo Burgundy a little better but the color is still way off – sorry.  You get the idea though.  Can you tell which die I used in the Big Shot?  Of course you can, you already read it in the picture caption didn’t you?  I used the Two Tags Die!

Micah and Jaan were asking yet again tonight, “what does the tooth fairy look like?”  “Who is it?”  “Is it a boy or girl?” . . . . Do you think I’m giving anything away?  No doubt they’ll be fairly certain it’s a girl now.  Will they suspect mommy because of the stamping?  I’m thinking she stopped by the classroom on her way upstairs to make the switch.  Don’t you think??  That’s our story and we’re sticking to it!  (By the way, I hid the stamp set in the bin labled “Stampin’ Class Supplies” in the classroom .  .  . I’m bound to not be able to find it later so if you’re in the classroom when I’m searching you can help me out!)

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope your day is a wonderful one!

What a great idea, Becky! I don’t think you’re cheap – I think you’re smart – the tooth fairy would be broke after 6 visits otherwise!! :) I always knew that Santa works with Mommies and Daddies, and now I see that the Tooth Fairy does too! Its nice of you to make that great little stamping package for the money! Love this idea! :)

I love this, Becky – the idea, the cuteness, and the quarter! Go for cheap as long as you can – builds their character! (you might be surprised at how close to the norm you are) Wish this stamp set had been around for my tooth fairy days. :)

Oh Nancy, I’m afraid it isn’t even a quarter – it’s just a dime! :)
