Jolly Holiday Tree Scrapbook Page

Jolly Holiday DSP

Today I want to share a scrapbook page I’ve been making for my hostesses at their parties over the last month.  I think it’s so cute with the fun Jolly Holiday DSP!  I used stamps from the Come to Bethlehem stamp set along with the Swirls Scribbles and Scallop #2 Big Shot dies, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Basic Pearls, the Scallop Edge Punch and Circle Scissor Plus.

That sounds like a lot of supplies for a 12×12 scrapbook page but it is really fast to make and a lovely layout for either a scrapbook page or framed art on the wall.

I have another busy week coming up with a Christmas Card class, Scrap Club and Party all right here in Stewartstown.  I hope I will see many of you and one or more of these events!

  1. Is the circle scissors plus easy to use and could it be purchased instead of the punches? It would be a huge investment to get all of the circle punches and dies but if the circle scissors plus works just as well I think I might like to get that. Thanks!!

    • Hi Melissa!

Thank you for the question, it’s a good one!

It takes a little practice to get the knack of the Circle Scissor Plus but then it fairly easy to use. You can use the tool to cut circles from 1” in diameter to 6” in diameter and anywhere in between. If you decide to get one, you want to make sure you have the glass plate and some Dotto adhesive (page 197). The Dotto is a temporary adhesive which allows you to temporarily adhere your paper to the cutting board so it won’t move when you turn the cutter.
