June Children’s Craft Class

June Children’s Craft Class

I had to skip the month of May for my Children’s Craft Class due to all the travel and my son’s procedure.  We finally got to have it last week though.  What a fun time!

The children were able to choose which box/purse they wanted and then decorate the box/purse and fill it with handmade cards.  Some will use the cards themselves when they want to send a birthday thank you note or something to grandma.  Others made their boxes and cards as gifts (thinking ahead to Christmas.)

Today I will share one of the two options the children had.Butterflies Thinlit Dies

Those who chose, could make this lovely little purse.  I pulled out some retired stamps and ribbon for this project.

Monogram Cards

Those who chose to do this version made eight monogrammed cards for inside the purse.

This is my project, I’m afraid I’m not able to get pictures of the children and their projects during these classes, I’m way to busy bouncing around keeping everyone on task!

Come back tomorrow and I will show you the second option participants had.

  1. I think it’s great that the children, boys and girls, get to be as creative as the adults. Children will surprise us sometimes. Today’s share is beautiful and a lot of careful placement with everything they do. Enjoy your weekend whatever you do.
