Kind & Caring Thoughts with Color Challenge

Kind & Caring Thoughts hostess set

Here’s the other color challenge card I promised to share with you.  This was made using Night of Navy, So Saffron and Brocade Blue.  It’s a very simple card and you may even recognize the design, I used this Kind & Caring Thoughts card before with other colors.

Handmade Card

We do not have Brocade Blue Taffeta Ribbon but I was able to make my own using our Stampin’ Write marker.  I’m going to show this technique to the Tech Club this month and I know they’re going to like it.  By having Stampin’ Write markers, especially for the colors retiring, you can make your own ribbon to match any project you’re doing.  It’s great!  If you would like to learn how to color your ribbon, contact me so you can visit Technique Club on Tuesday, June 15.

In order to get the leaves and sentiment to show up on the Night of Navy cardstock I used So Saffron craft ink.  I also colored gold brads to make them So Saffron.  There are just so many things you can do with stamping!

Thank you for stopping by!

On the photo it looks sort of Whisper White, is the So Saffron a very light shade of yellow? I adore this card, I look forward to seeing what you’ve created each day!!

Love the monochromatic look of this one, and thanks for the reminder of how we can so easily change up our accessories because of all the fabulous resources at our fingertips (aka markers, refills, etc.). :)
