King of the Grill Handmade Card

King of the Grill stamp set

I had a few minutes to stamp last evening so I grabbed up the King of the Grill stamp set with the June 14 Guy Cards Class in mind.  I wanted a simple but appealing card that did not require coloring with this stamp set.

Masculine Card

To make this I used Basic Gray Patterns DSP, Basic Gray satin ribbon, Basic Gray ink, an Aqua Painter, and the Circle Scissor Plus.

What do you think?  This card would work for Father’s Day, birthday or just about any happy occasion for a guy.

If you are part of the Stamping Technique Club please note that there has been a change in date for the June Technique Club.  My family is going to be able to go on a vacation we didn’t think we’d be able to take this summer and of course it’s right at Tech Club time.  I have emailed each member with make up dates.  Please contact me and let me know which date works best for you.  Thank you!

I like it! You don’t very often do the “goofy” kind of stamping, that I’ve seen, but this is great! I like that you did it without color, too…simple is good on this.
