Last Minute Christmas Eve Project

Last Minute Christmas Eve Project

I have a quick “hurry up and throw it together” sort of project that I made on Christmas Eve.

I purchased some plain Christmas Stocking Holders last year at a craft store in an after-Christmas-sale with the intention of decorating them for Christmas this year.  Yeah, you know when I got around to decorating them . . . Christmas Eve!

I’m not sure that this is totally how I had pictured them in my mind, but it works!  I used a couple retired items as well as a few current items to make these.    The burlap piece was already there.Stocking Holder

I pictured these with a little more substance, but considering the time constraints, they turned out okay.

SU! Decorated stocking holder

These hold stockings that were knit/crocheted (I don’t know which!) by my mother-in-law.

Stampin' Up! Christmas

The red sweater trim used for the letters was available several years ago and the little white snowflakes were available last year.  The silver snowflake as well as the wooden snowflakes are currently available, but not for long!  I also added some tiny little pieces of Silver Glimmer paper but I’m not sure how well you can see those.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!  Thank you for coming by to visit today!

  1. You did a wonderful job on the “Last Minute Christmas Eve Project”, and yes I can see the ” tiny little pieces of Silver Glimmer ” that you added, very nice touch. For those of us who don’t have the privilege of visiting your home and attending your classes, I would love to see your Christmas tree. You are so talented Becky and also wanted to see a photo of the tree you created at School with the Teachers added to it. Thank you for all of your hard work, ” Stampin’ Up! “, managing a Family, and just keeping everybody happy, and answering questions that we all have from time to time. I appreciate you and your Family. THANK YOU BECKY!!! 🙂
