Love You Much & Holiday Best Valentine Card

Handmade card with Stampin' Up! supplies

Here is another of the cards we will be making in class tonight!  We’ll be using the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Best hostess stamp set as well as the Love You Much set and the new Sending Love Specialty DSP.

I used Basic Black ink for the sentiment on this card but I’m not happy with that.  As my husband said, “it looks stamped.”  in other words, it doesn’t look like it fits.  We’re going to be stamping the sentiment in Real Red during class.  Unfortunately I did have not had time to make another sample with the Real Red to show you.  Time just doesn’t seem to be on my side lately!

As far as I know, at this point, the weather is not effecting our class at the Mason-Dixon library.  I will call the library when they open to double check that they will be open.  If I hear differently I will be in contact with class members at the phone number they have provided.

Snow at Stamp That!

If you live on the east coast I hope you’ve been able to find some time to stamp while you’ve been snowed in this weekend!  Here’s a picture of the snow here at our house.  If you look closely beside the van you’ll notice we had a tree (like the one beside our neighbor’s vehicle) fall in the same place we had a telephone pole fall last week.  Praise the Lord it did no damage to our van!

I hope your week is a wonderful one!

  1. I’m surprised you haven’t wrapped the vehicles with bubble wrap. 😉

  2. Even though we shoveled/snow blow’d two driveways, it still shocks me to see pictures of the snow! eeep! more to come tuesday. let’s move somewhere warm for our card class!

Love the above card – especially the pretty pieces of that ‘special’ paper! 🙂

  3. This is a really pretty card, Becky; I, too, like the little squares of the special paper – it looks very Valentine-y!

I hope there is nothing left to fall around your driveway now.

Let’s all go to Hawaii until April – and take our stamps with us!
